Holistic Wellbeing - Get well with Medical Astrology
One of the key wellbeing diagnostic tools I like to use to make my customers better is Birth and Medical Astrology. This blog will tell you everything you need to know about this ancient, forgotten yet amazingly accurate practice and how you can get well with Medical Astrology.
What is Astrology?
Astrology is a study of the planets and the stars, to divine their influence upon the human race and Earth. An Astrology Chart is a map of their positioning when you were born, based upon the time, location and date of your birth. This gives deep insight into personal character, challenges, life purpose, lifetime wound, career, relationships, future self and a lot more.
Timing is everything
No two are the same, they are completely unique to you; even identical twins can’t be born in the same minute! And, what is interesting, is that a lot of people don’t know the exact time they were born because it’s deemed no longer relevant! Which, couldn’t be further from the truth and more evidence of a layer knowledge being taken without our consent.
Medical Astrology Chart
From your Astrology Chart I can determine your Medical Astrology, which tells me what your natural constitution needs for balance, current health status and potential future health issues. Balance, or homeostasis if you prefer, in your mind, body and soul is intrinsic for true wellbeing. It’s impossible to separate the mind from the body, the body from the soul or the soul from the mind, they are all equally influential on our health. It really is a case of chicken or egg when it comes to resolving a health crisis.
Different constitutional types
There are twelve different variations, along the lines of warm and moist, dry, cold and melancholy etc. One for every sign of the Zodiac, they are determined using your Sun sign and will help you identify your overarching conditions for health.
Western approach to balancing wellbeing
Western physicians used to believe that good health meant balance in the four main humours; Black bile, Yellow bile, Phlegm, Blood. This has now developed into three main body types still used today; Ectomorph, Endomorph, Mesomorph, which you may sound familiar?
Eastern approach to balancing wellbeing
The Chinese use five elements; Earth, Fire, Metal, Wood, Water.
Ayurvedic traditions have three Doshas; Vata (Ectomorph), Pitta (Mesomorph), Kapha (Endomorph).
My approach to wellbeing
As a witch and psychic medical intuitive, I read the five elementals; Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Spirit. I share the Ayurvedic belief that we’re born with an innate constitution, Prakruti. And as we go through life, our constitution changes, Vikruti. I work by addressing the imbalance between the two, returning the client back to their Prakruti.
Zodiac correlation to body parts
The Zodiac signs are split into the four elements Earth, Air, Fire and Water. Each body parts corresponds with a different zodiac sign.
What does your medical astrological chart tell me
From reading your medical astrology chart, I can determine your dominant body parts, vitality, metabolism, distribution of life force, temperature, deficiencies, excesses, body systems and your distribution of these four elements.
This information tells me what illnesses and diseases you are vulnerable to developing or are likely to have already had.
The history of medical astrology
Evidence for this holistic wellbeing practice goes back to the ancient Mesopotamian civilisations of Assyria, Babylon and Sumer, so we’re talking at least 5,000 years.
Given that the Mesopotamian civilisation actually dates back 10,000 BC, I’d hazard a pretty safe guess that medical astrology does too and probably even further. Every ruler had an important Stargazer didn’t they?

Famous physicians who used medical astrology
Famous folk, whom you may recognise, that studied and used medical astrology for holistic wellbeing include Claudius Ptolemy. He was living in Alexandria in 2AD and wrote a lot of books on health and wellbeing which remained popular until the 17th Century C.E.
In Britain, Nicholas Culpepper talked of the astrological influences over plants in his Complete Herbal. And, William Lilly strived to make it available to the masses by writing about it and giving free clinics to the poor; also in the 17th Century.
17th century spiritual shift
The 17th Century saw a huge shift away from people believing that God and occult forces were influencing us, aka unnatural forces, to natural forces like the Sun and Moon; wish I’d been around then…perhaps I was!
Fall from grace
However, and unfortunately, medical astrology clashed with science and was dropped from mainstream medical teaching in the 19th Century. Up until this point, doctors learnt all about therapeutic plants with a focus on achieving balanced humours.
Evidence of modern use
It is still used by the likes of me and orthodox physicians and tiny parts of it remain very much in use in standard medicine. A good, yet hotly debated, example being Rx on medical prescriptions, which I’ve been taught stands for the patient’s horoscope aka root, but others argue it means recipe. You choose what you’d like to believe.
Final Word
You now know how to use this ancient wellbeing practice, medical astrology, to get well. Good health is all about creating and maintaining balance, the body will do everything it can to create its interpretation of that.
